The Panama hat is crafted from a natural palm fibre known as toquilla straw, offering exceptional comfort and unparalleled protection from the sun. When handled and cared for properly, your Panama becomes one of the most durable hats in the world.
- Do not wear in the rain
- Store it flat in its box, with tissue paper inside the crown. To keep the straw hydrated, lightly mist it with water from time to time, throughout the year
- Avoid pinching the top of the hat when putting it on or taking it off. Learn the proper gesture: handle your hat by the brim
- Do not leave your straw hats on the rear shelves of vehicles; in just a few hours, they can become dehydrated and brittle
